Check the course content, accreditation, dates and prices with the provider, and check which training the regulations, your employer or your customer actually require.

Dangerous goods by air (IATA DGR)

Anyone who prepares, accepts or handles dangerous goods for air must be trained for their role, and refresh that training at least every 24 months.

Dangerous goods by sea (IMDG Code)

Shore-side staff who classify, pack, mark, label, document or load dangerous goods for sea need IMDG training for their duties.

Professional bodies and qualifications

Recognised qualifications and short courses across logistics, transport and supply chain.

Workplace transport, forklifts and HGV

Standards and accredited training for materials handling equipment (MHE), lift trucks and LGV/HGV drivers.

Lifting, rigging and lifting equipment

For lifting and rigging project and heavy-lift cargo, and inspecting lifting equipment.

Export, customs and trade documents (Chambers of Commerce)

Many chambers run British Chambers of Commerce accredited international trade courses. Passing six accredited modules leads to the BCC Foundation Award in International Trade.
