Container guide
Typical dimensions and weights for the main ISO container types. Figures vary by carrier and build series. Where they differ, we show the range published by carriers. Tap View in 3D on any card to see it to scale.
Before you load: always check the CSC plate on the actual unit for its max gross and tare, and ask the carrier for load spread rules on flat racks and open tops. Out-of-gauge cargo must be declared at booking.

- Flat rack usable deck length is the carrier-published length between the end-wall corner posts: 40ft 11,652 mm (Hapag-Lloyd p. 37, ONE) and 11,658 mm (ONE 40FR HC); 20ft 5,612–5,638 mm (Hapag-Lloyd p. 35) and 5,568 mm (ONE).
- Where a card shows a range, the figures come from different carrier builds, so payload will not always equal max gross minus tare. Check the CSC plate on the actual unit.
